No. Dovri is software that organizes circles. The money moves through a licensed payments partner and sits with their partner bank, never with us.
Contributions are in transit between bank accounts rather than deposited with Dovri. We'll publish the exact insurance position of our banking partner before launch, and it will be on this page.
Funds in flight belong to members, not to Dovri, and would be returned or paid out under the terms of your circle. Our wind-down plan will be published before we take a dollar.
No. Organizers set up the circle and invite people. They never hold the pot, and they can't redirect a payout.
No. We can only take the amount your circle agreed to, on the agreed date. Anything else needs your approval in the app.
Before it starts, yes, at no cost. Once contributions begin you're committed — that commitment is what makes everyone else's turn safe. If your situation changes, talk to us.
Contributions are automatic, so staying on track takes no effort. If Dovri ever has to advance on someone's behalf, they repay it, their Standing falls to the bottom, and they can't join another circle until it's settled.
